Caitlin Schneider

500-Hour RYT

Founder of Caitlin Red Yoga LLC and Private Yoga on Long Island

Meet Caitlin

Caitlin is a 500-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher specializing in beginner yoga, as well as a 20-Hour Certified Yin Yoga Teacher.

Her passion is introducing yoga to women through a trauma sensitive lens to those who are looking to alleviate chronic body pains due to age and/or injury through a gentle movement practice.

She loves working with women who are true beginners and to support already seasoned yogis who wish to feel stronger and more confident in their bodies as they age.

When she’s not teaching yoga she teaches small group classes periodically as well as corporate yoga classes operating under the name Caitlin Red Yoga LLC.

Outside of yoga, Caitlin holds a bachelor’s degree in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences from SUNY Stony Brook, has 13 years experience in Corporate America, and is also a musician!

She is a dog and cat mom to 2 dogs and 3 cats, loves horror movies, metal music, stand up comedy, chilling on the couch streaming TV shows (huge Real Housewives fan), and has a very large crystal collection.

CAITLIN’S MISSION and teaching style

Caitlin’s main focus is yoga for women that want to prevent and reverse the signs of the body aging process, and to women with existing injuries or chronic pain issues by introducing gentle movement practices to aid in pain management.

Her classes are designed with the true beginner in mind by giving them personalized modifications to popular poses that you may not get in a group class at a yoga studio. (All of her current client’s classes are completely different from each other!

Caitlin understands how intimidating starting a yoga practice can be. She has lots of experience working with true beginners who have many questions, concerns, and self doubt as to whether they are capable of doing yoga and if yoga is right for them and their bodies. (Spoiler alert: you are already more than capable to do yoga… yes, you!)
